The Invisalign systems for orthodontic treatment is an increasingly popular option for many who want to achieve a great smile, but are uncomfortable with the visibility of traditional braces. Many of our patients find that Invisalign is a great fit for an active lifestyle. Invisalign utilizes a series of clear, removable aligners that move the teeth much like traditional braces. They are, however, nearly invisible and unnoticeable to the outside world.
Tripp Leitner Orthodontics is proud to be Rock Hill and Fort Mill’s only Premier Provider for Invisalign. This status is awarded by Invisalign to orthodontists that have achieved a higher level of education in, and experience with the Invisalign system.
Using the latest 3-D technology, Dr. Leitner will build a complete picture of your teeth. Your teeth are first placed in an impression tray, a 3-D model of your teeth is then rendered using the impressions. This model is then used to create a fully custom clear aligner for your teeth! These aligners are worn for around two weeks before being replaced by another set of aligners until your teeth are positioned to your liking.

Does Invisalign really work? Yes. Invisalign was developed in conjunction with orthodontists and used in dental practices worldwide! Invisalign has been used to straighten the teeth of millions worldwide.
How does Invisalign work? Using impression trays, a 3-D model is created to map your treatment from start to finish. This map is then used to create a series of custom aligners that are completely unique to you. Each aligner is worn for a period of two weeks and will gradually set your teeth to their final positions.
How much does Invisalign cost? The Invisalign system is priced similarly to traditional braces. Like braces, the cost of Invisalign is varied on a patient by patient basis.
Do Invisalign aligners contain Bisphenol-A (BPA)? No. Invisalign aligners and Vivera retainers do not contain Bisphenol-A (BPA) or phthalate plasticizers. The aligner and retainers are made with USP Class VI medical grade, polyurethane resins. Tests show the biocompatibility (the ability for a material to positively interact with your body) passes all regulatory requirements and thresholds for use in your mouth. As with any medical device, please consult your Doctor about your aligner or retainer treatment and discuss and risk of use.
